    Read the first two books in this series and just purchased the third, Light of Requiem today. I am confident that the third and final book in this Song of a Dragon series will be as good as the first two. Great imagination, combined with a love of folklore, ancient times and mythical tales, enables author/creator Arenson to tell a great yarn. Good stories, easy reading and quite often, some great humour by the author. A nice collection! I wish they had a 4 1/2 Start Rating hereā€¦..
  • Throughly enjoyed

    I just purchased the 2nd of this book which I hope will be as enjoyable as this one. The depth of the characters personalities was not as much as I usually enjoy reading. However, I do think that worked for this story. It is filled with adventure, heroic males and strong independent females great for what I believe is the target market (teens) :) Thank you Daniel Arenson

    The eternal war of survival between goodness and evil is played out in this well written book. Whatever forms the characters take, the battle rages on.
  • A title worth skipping

    Ok save yourself some time this is one of if not the worst novels I have ever tried to read. I have enjoyed other books by this author so was completely amazed at how bad this one is. The characters have been completely dumbed down through out the 1/2 of the book I read (fist book I was unable to finish). I'll try not to give anything away but imagine James Bond 007 sneaking into the enemies lair while the whole time having a red and blue strobe light on his head flashing once a second and an air raid siren blaring from a speaker in his coat and being followed by a marching band the whole time. That is how bad the logic in this book flows. I thought it was target at a teen audience but it feels like it was written by a teen in their spare time. I do realize that it's a fantasy novel but even so you need to have it flow. So 0 stars from me on this novel.
