    Reading THE SISTERS BROTHER is a gratifying experience. Eli Sisters is an exceptional protagonist. His world view drives the story. It took me a few pages to get into the rhythm of his unique voice but the slightly archaic and poetic style became addictive. The characters are complex but written with a clarity that makes them easy recognizable. It was difficult to put it down and, when I was away from this book, I was pondering these captivating characters, the sensual settings and compelling story. This is the kind of book to give as a gift. It's a page turner that will leave any reader completely satisfied.
